Our FLOW for ALL book competitions

This year it is presently our aim to enter into a joint publishing partnership with PTSD Resolution. All our poems and stories will be available to PTSDRs publisher and a selection of all our poems and stories will be chosen to be published in the books. Theoretically this means we will not be judging the poems ourselves as in the past but it will be left to the publishers. If your poem or story is selected then in theory you will have won.

Stories, Poems, Letters, Emails, Twitters and all such communications will be published in the book allowing us to share the thoughts, emotions and feelings of serving personnel and their families/loved ones. The proceeds of all sales going to each organisation to sustain funds.

If you have any emails, letters, twitter, Facebook posts and all such communications from/to loved ones of those embroiled in war and such service, please send them to poems@ForcesPoetry.com and we shall pass them on to PTSDR. By submitting any such communications to us we will accept that as you granting us and PTSDR your full permission to publish their contents in the publication and in any form of advertising for the book. Thank you very much.

I think we must look at the bigger picture, remember what it is we set out to achieve and focus on why we exist which is "to help anyone affected by war". If joining forces with PTSDR and having our poems and stories published with an organisation that completes our work, then I see no barriers to this arrangement at all. Importantly the authors copyright will be maintained and the poems/stories will remain your property to re publish wherever you wish.

With regards to the £5 donation for submitting your work etc this must now be shelved but any donation you are able to make will be gratefully received as funding is as always a huge issue.
